I am a member of the Sing for Freedom Choir. I am from the Democratic Republic

of the Congo. I am the mother of three children, all boys. I have a degree in Economics and I am a Survivor of Torture and Survivor speaker for Freedom From Torture. I am a determined woman and I never give up. I have been part of Sing for Freedom and the Singing Our Lives project since the beginning, and I have appreciated meeting new people, the sense of equality, the love we have found, and seeing our words transformed into song. The Singing Our Lives company has become a second family.
